School Closure Notice

04-10-06

All team captains should take note that the school will be closed between the 20th and 30th of November.

Therefore any home matches during this period will have to be re-scheduled, so take note of any blank weeks.

One other option, may be to play any home matches during this period at your opponents venue, and reverse the later fixture.

Match Cancellations

01-10-06

As the start of the new season approaches, and Sanford being the largest club in terms of players registered, there is a particular importance on avoiding match cancellations.

If your team is missing a player, and you have no one else to play, remember that you can call up a player from any Sanford team beneath you.

As the largest club, every Sanford team is expected to be able to play a match.

Cancelling a match should only be used as a last resort!

New Facilities @ Sanford

02-09-06

The summer marked a time of change at Sanford with the upgrading of the playing facilities available to the club.

Sanford managed to secure financial support to purchase 5 new Butterfly Tournament Tables to replace the existing Banda tables.

After many failed attempts the school gym finally got an uplift with the walls of the gym being painted a 'forest green' colour to aid ball visibility during match play.

Credit for these improvements goes to the hard work of the committee, in particular Sylvia Morse who has campaigned effortlessly for many years to improve the facilities at the club.
