Final Day 21st April 2002

Cheltenham A will represent the South West region at the National Finals in May after becoming champions of the above league. The team of Craig East, Michael Harvey, Alex Kerney were in a class of their own by winning every match this season. Craig East also took the top individual honours by remaining unbeaten the whole season. Cheltenham B were a clear second although third place Ferndale showed much improvement by holding them to a draw in round one on the final days play. Oldfield Premiers the newest side battled well throughout the whole tournament and the experienced gained together with their excellent nature will stand them in good stead for future seasons. The presentations were made by Mr John Burtenshaw the South West Regional Chairman and English Table Tennis Representative who attended the whole days play.
